I spent Thanksgiving in Chitown; more importantly, I celebrated Lynn's 30th birthday! The festivities took place at Nacional 27, where we enjoyed delicious tapas and salsa music. Happy Birthday, dear sis... As usual, it was a packed weekend, in addition to our family Thanksgiving feast & Lynn's birthday party: lunch with Sylver & Lincoln; a last-minute baby shower with Gen & Jeremy followed by drinks with Ray & Dave; shopping with Meggy for his birthday; brunch with my preggo couple friends Matt & Jen and Adam & Nikko; and finally, Gin's nephew's first birthday party. Special props to my bro for slaving away in the kitchen to prepare yummy veggie dishes for me, and another Happy Birthday to my cousin/godson Meggy. I had a fabulous long weekend, and I am incredibly grateful for my family & friends in Chitown. I miss you all so much!
