Jamie Hilao

So August has flown by, and though I made it almost a good solid month with my “resolution”, I broke down a few times and even probably made up for the time without it.

It’s all good though; the last few weekends have been extremely productive. And this month has been crazy, but what else is new?

I attended Lora’s beautiful wedding at the Marvimon House in downtown Los Angeles, I co-chaired the Open House event at AWBW, I’ve met some very interesting folks while out & about, Tigger & I both got our annual medical check-ups, I spent some QT with Hilao fam, and I finally submitted my application for a fellowship which I will share about another time (cross your fingers for me!).

Papa Hilao is returning to the Motherland at the end of the month, Ginny Gin is coming to La-La land so we could attend Dan’s wedding, and I’m off to Chicago next month to attend Heidi’s wedding and celebrate my bro’s birthday.

I’m like the Energizer Bunny… I keep going and going and going…

But, no one can ever accuse of not taking full advantage of what life has to offer. And even though I just received some crappy news that I am the victim of account fraud and that some of my friends are going through a tough time due to a recent loss, it has been an incredible year for me so far and I’m looking forward to seeing what the final quarter of the year will bring.
