Barack Obama: He represents so much for me… I admit, though I was a fan since he gave his speech at the DNC in ‘04, I was doubtful that he would get this far. And I am so incredibly excited at the momentum he’s gained over the last few months! I truly believe he could make such a difference in US politics.
Marissa Mayer: Beautiful, well-rounded, intelligent career woman who’s an emerging leader in the tech industry, at 32!!!! Also the 12th employee at Google who is now Google’s Vice President of Search Products & User Experience. Most definitely a role model for me…
David Archuleta: Adorable 17-year-old American Idol hopeful who I think will make it all the way! His rendition this week of John Lenon’s “Imagine” was amazing. (yes, I admit, I am a NERD!) If only I were 13 years younger…
Danny Norriega: Absolutely FABULOUS AI contestant who will probably make the top 10 but I doubt he’ll go all the way… He just reminds so much of 2 of my dear relatives (who will rename unnamed but those of you who know them know who I’m talking about), and he can belt it out like no one’s business. Plus, he’s got that fun flamboyant attitude that makes the show interesting.

I love it, Jamie. I’m on the fourth chapter and I gotta say, it’s very inspiring.
I have to admit, I care a little bit more about American Idol this year b/c of you. Thanks for letting me hang out with you last weekend. I love the fact that you made eating cheese for breakfast “ok.” mmmmmmmmmmm You’re absolutely right - that seaweed is way better than the one I’ve been eating. I knew I should’ve bought more.
