Hemingway, Björk, & My Lil’ Sis

Hemingway

If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.

My most recent book club novel was Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast. Excellent read! Loved the insight into his life as a young, starving artist, & his experiences in Paris with those in his literary circle, including Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein, & Scott Fitzgerald.

Also - for those of you who are Type A & like to read, check out goodreads.com. I have over 30 books in my “to-read” bookshelf. Got lots of catching up to do!!

Björk

is coming to LA!

Have 2 extra tickets (great seats!) to her December concert at the Nokia Theatre. Anyone interested in buying them off me?

My sister, Lynn

… is also coming to LA to celebrate the end of life as I know it… my 30th birthday! Thanks lil’ sis!!

dramatic enough? it’s not the end of your life. when you hit 60 we’ll talk! =) besides the women in our family are strong and live until they’re in their 90’s. so you’ve got 2/3 of your life ahead of you!!! you know i need a vacation and what better way to spend it with you??? anyway…let me know about a spa we can go to.
