- My best friend Sylver introduced me to my new favorite candy, Hi-Chew. Surprisingly, I’m not sure where to find it here in LA (it’s Japanese), but you can buy it on amazon! She also introduced me to my new favorite beer, Lindemans Framboise. It tastes like carbonated grape juice. Yuuuuuum.
- Goo Gone is not only good for cleaning up paint off your hardwood floor, it removes the scuff marks off your shoes. Love it!
- I may be skinny, but I am damn out of shape. I must’ve left my outdoor spirit in Australia. I went on my first of hopefully many summer hikes last weekend w/my boyfriend, and I finally decided to purchase 10 private yoga classes by Chrissie. (Let her know I referred you if you decide to check her out, she’s got great rates!)
- The heat in the Philippines is enough to melt 10 of my favorite air fresheners in a suitcase. Fortunately, my dad’s pasalobong did not go to waste… refrigerating each can revives it.
- Your one-stop shop for research on tires… Tirerack.com rocks!
- I searched online fares to Vegas from LA for the crazy triple bachelorette party we now call “Woodstock.” (It involves a joint venture of 3 of my bride-to-be gal pals: Krysti, Genevieve, & Judilyn.) Can you believe a round-trip ticket with a reasonable schedule (reasonable as in leaving after 9 a.m. on a Sunday departure home) costs $180-190?!? I remember getting tickets for under a buck a little over a year ago. Damn gas prices.
