Life’s Simple Pleasures — tagged by keto
Instructions: Name 10 of life’s simple pleasures that you like the most, then pick 10 people to do the same. Try to be original and creative; try not to use things that someone else has already used.
- deep conversations, with random people or a good friend.
- a good bottle of wine.
- bubble baths with the lights off, candles lit, & sade playing the background. yes, i’m a sap, but i love it!
- getting a handmade card with a special message.
- the warm fuzzy feeling in your tummy when you know you’re in love. even better when it never wears off.
- curling up with a good book on a rainy day.
- a bike ride on the beach.
- awakening the creative spirit inside of you & remembering not to take life so seriously.
- finding a delish new neighborhood restaurant. not one of those fancy trendy ones, but the kind where the service is excellent, the food is amazing, & the ambiance is cozy.
- dancing to deep house music. at home by myself or at a chill club with a good vibe.
I tag: Jefe, Lynn, Juanito, & MemoryLoot. I don’t have many online buddies that I think would actually complete this, but taking the time to remember life’s simple pleasures is well worth it.
On a side note, my sis is in town & we’re livin’ it Hilao-Chitown style on the West Coast. ‘Twill be a fun week.
Soon the Hilao clan (including Jay) will be in San Fran for my “nephew’s” first birthday. I’m excited to finally meet him & also reconnecting with my cousins on the Mella side.
Good times before we flip the switch at work & everything goes to Hell Labor Day weekend. But you didn’t hear that from me.
