Transition
Moving Day was pretty insane. Guess I didn’t realize that even without furniture, I have a ton of crap.
I purged before I moved, & I’m continuing to purge as I’m unpacking now…
It will be quite some time before I finally feel settled. It’s too bad that I probably won’t be fully done until after the summertime. Hopefully, the weather will be awesome even in September or October when my place is ready.
After a full week in the Valley, I realize now how much I took the West side for granted. The Valley is damn far from everything. I went out over the weekend 3 nights in a row & the drives home late at night were far from ideal, especially since I now have to take the freeway from Hollywood. Yuck. I will definitely be going out far less than I was before.
My Biatch, my college & post-college roomie, came to visit over the weekend. It’s so refreshing to be reminded that with true friends you can always pick back right where you left off, no matter how much time passes.
My cable modem was installed over the weekend. I finally uploaded the short clip of Meggy’s band performance at his graduation party in Chitown. Presenting “No More Than Less” & their cover of Weezer’s “Beverly Hills” entitled “Do Your Homework”. Check it out,they are WAY adorable. My lil’ cousins, the mini-rockers.
