The first of several out-of-town visitors crashing at Hotel Jamie this year was my sister, Lynn. It was craziness from the start.

She arrived at LAX at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday, the 13th.

Since her flight was delayed, G. & I were ready to party after a nice loooong nap and we went directly to Phil’s birthday party at The Bar after picking her up. Poor Lynn, she was on Chicago time, but she was a trooper! A group of us went to Ms. Tammy’s after The Bar closed. After betting on the Bears (which she later lost) and getting pissed off by “Hoochie Mama Volume” boy, we decided to call it a night.

The next day we had a family lunch party at my aunt’s in honor of Lynn aka STINK, and then we headed up to Ventucky for a crazy night of drinking at the local dives. Funny. The night involved naked art, a Kiss-like band, Spearmint Rhino (er, almost…. long story), 18 songs on a jukebox, a random dirt bike laying on the sidewalk, Napoleon Dynamite, and a few of us riding around in a shopping cart. Guess ya had to be there.

Sunday was a little more lowkey… after recovering from the previous night’s debauchery, Lynn, G. & I headed down to Gabby & Aila’s for dinner, a night of movies, and a few bottles of wine. Lynn was too pooped from the weekend & passed out early. Oh well.

I made sure to get Lynn to In N Out before her flight left earlier this afternoon. She was fascinated by the options not on the menu. For those interested, here is some information on In N Out’s secret menu.

She’ll be back in July for some more good times. Next up: Roman and his family friend in 2 weekends. Phew! At least I have 1 weekend to prepare myself for more Chitown in Hell-A drunken-ness.
