Thanksgiving Weekend
My weekend got off to a great start when G. surprised me with an early birthday gift: a Kustom Kruiser Kosmopolitan beach cruiser. I *LOVE* the martini glass, bowling pins, and pink paint job on the bike. Thanks, G!
Turkey Day began at Auntie Luz’s. I got to meet my adorable second cousins from Washington State. It was a fun, relaxing lunch, & Auntie Luz gave me the skinny on her latest trip to the P.I.
We then went to Gabby & Aila’s in West Hills. They are the most gracious hosts, and I was able to convince G. to do a karaoke night there soon.
G. and I drove back up to his parents’ place in Ventucky for some tea and dessert. They loved the new Johnny Cash flick, so G. & I are planning to check it out sometime this weekend.
Twenty “Happy Turkey Day” text messages later, G. & I ended the night by watching the entire first season of Entourage over a few bottles of beer (actually, 6 for G., 0 for me).
No Black Friday for me today. The sales aren’t worth the headache of battling through the crowds. I’m doing most of my Christmas shopping online.
What a great Thanksgiving weekend… and I’ve still got 3 more days left of my vacation. Yippee!
