Reiki Session
Type A Stress Balls like me need an outlet to keep themselves relaxed and balanced.
Over the past few years, I’ve been going to yoga classes regularly to combat stress. Recently, I started taking a wonderful Kundalini class close to work. The first time I attended, our class of 10 chanted for 15 minutes straight. The energy in the room was inexplicable; I felt like I was levitating.
I hadn’t felt that way since about 3 years ago, when I was first introduced to Reiki. I had several sessions, including 1 remote session, and the results were incredible. After each session, I felt relaxed, energized, healthy, and happy. My Reiki experiences ended after I moved to L.A.
A few weeks ago, my co-worker and friend Verity completed her Level I training for Reiki. She gave me a treatment last night, and I slept better than I have in a long while.
I’m “glowing” today, and despite the few shit-uations I’ve found myself in, I feel strong enough to take on whatever ordeals life throws my way.
I am thankful for finding outlets such as Reiki & Yoga to help me continue to achieve my greatest self.
And I’m thankful for being able to find strength within my inner self. I am in much better shape than I was when I first moved here: I am more balanced physically, spiritally, emotionally.
Still got a long ways to go… Guess there’s always room for improvement. And God knows I still need a lot of work…
